DESCRIPTION:Description: Rising 9th-12th grade athletes will take part in a challenging weight program 3 days a week. Focus in the weight room is on technique\, nutrition\, and becoming more athletic and explosive through a rigorous weight program. Speed & agility will focus on athletic movements that train speed\, power\, agility\, balance\, reaction time\, & coordination. The focus will also be on conditioning athletes and preparing for football season. DESCRIPTION:Cost: $100 \nAges: 6 – 13 year old boys and girls \nCamp Dates/Times: June 2nd – July 2nd (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 9:00 am – 10:00 am \nCamp Location: Thunder Ridge High School \nDescription of Camp: The Grizzly Youth Speed and Agility Camp for Girls & Boys was created for male and female athletes looking to improve their overall athletic ability. The main objective of this camp is to teach the basic fundamentals of sprinting\, improve camper’s speed\, explosive power\, foot quickness\, change of direction abilities\, balance\, coordination and reaction time. The camp will also include a series of games and competitions that allow kids to work on various athletic movements while also having FUN! Camp will be coached by Coach Jay Madden\, head football coach at Thunder Ridge HS\, his current assistant coaches\, and former HS and college athletes.
