SUMMARY:PHS Winter Middle School Lifting Camp
DESCRIPTION:Days/Times: Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm \nNo camp on 2/16 due to President’s Day  \nAge: 5th – 8th grades \nCost of Camp: $80 \nDescription of Camp: This camp is geared towards athletes (male or female) of all levels (beginner to experienced) that participate in any sport. Campers will take part in a challenging total body weight lifting and training program. We will focus on using proper technique and safety\, increasing functional athleticism and strength for sports\, and preparing young athletes for high school weight lifting.  Athletes will also receive high-level instruction on the proper nutrition required to maintain energy and achieve their goals\, and will also learn about healthy foods that they can incorporate into their daily lives to maximize the workouts and get the results they want. SUMMARY:MS/HS Athlete Performance Camp
DESCRIPTION:Cost: $150 (28 sessions) \nDates: Mondays – Thursday June 3rd-July 25th from 7:15 – 8: 15 am (No sessions week of July 4th) \nDescription: These sessions are for incoming middle school and high school athletes\, and will be coached by Coach Moore\, Coach Schulz\, and Coach Franz.  Athletes will learn basic weightlifting techniques for the weight room.  Focus in the weight room is on technique\, nutrition\, and becoming more athletic and explosive through our rigorous program.  Speed & agility will focus on athletic movements that train speed\, power\, agility\, balance\, reaction time\, & coordination.  The focus will also be becoming an athlete that can perform efficiently…Athletes will be required to stretch as a group at the end of each session. \nWhat to bring: water bottle\, cleats\, running shoes \nLocation: GMHS Weight room/Football Field
